Sunny Pooni

Sunny Pooni, is currently an articling student at Zukerman Law Group.  He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of British Columbia. Further advancing his academic journey, Sunny graduated with Honors from the University College of London in 2020, where he obtained his LL.B degree.

During his articling period, Sunny independently conducted discovery sessions, attended court, and successfully obtained favorable judgments and orders on various applications. In addition to these tasks, Sunny gained valuable experience by shadowing and assisting senior counsel during trial and mediation proceedings. This exposure provided him with a comprehensive understanding of diverse legal scenarios, further enhancing his proficiency in the field.

In his free time, Sunny enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as dedicating his efforts to volunteering within the community. During his time at the University College of London, he was part of the Pro Bono Club, where he helped low-income families. His spirit of community service continues to shine as he currently volunteers as a Broad-Based Admission Reader for the University of British Columbia
